brass damage @ station 2
Quote from Reloader on March 21, 2010, 11:59 amI am having a problem with some of my cases not properly being aligned when in enters the powder die for expanding and getting charged. I am loading for my 10mm and using starline brass. I have to admit after double checking to make sure the sheel plate was aligned correctly, I still have my brass at time not properly alinged to go straight into the powder drop funnel its catching the bottom of the funnel and when pushed into the die it literally tears or crushes part of the case mouth. any ideas or thoughts??? I'm thinking the shellplate is where the issue lies because the brass seems to have some slop almost like its the wrong shellplate, any ideas fellas?????

Quote from Reloader on March 22, 2010, 3:13 pmUse the #5 shellplate and #2 locator buttons for 10mm. Push down on the edge of the shellplate between stations 2 and 3. If it feels springy, then the shellplate bolt needs to be snugged up a bit.
