Brass out of position to prime when moved to station 2

After decapping, when my brass rotates to station two, it moves outward very slightly away from center. This makes it unable to receive the primer on the upstroke. This happens 4/5 times I rotate. I nudge it with my finger, and it's back in place for effortless priming stroke. The brass seems to stay in the pocket for the rest of the stations without a problem. Help!

There is a spring-loaded metal finger at station 2, #13242. This should be adjusted to within .002"-.003" of touching the case. Adjust this by moving set screw #13820, located horizontally in the base of the primer feed body. Refer to your manual to find these. This finger functions like an adjustable locator button.

My only concern with the advice I've been given fron Dillon is the the part numbers #13242, & #13820, are not listed anywhere on the Square Deal B schematic or parts list...

Sorry, I gave you the 650 info, not the Square Deal B info. On the SDB, you use different brass locator buttons in the corners of the shaft to keep the case in the shellplate. What caliber are you loading, and what number is stamped on the brass locator buttons you installed?

I used to have this problem. How I fixed it, long ago, was to wrap a couple of rounds of scotch tape around the pin. It adds some additional thickness to the #2 pin and causes the brass to be aligned. You might want to give this a try.
