broken primer indexing arm
Quote from Reloader on February 24, 2014, 7:26 pmI keep breaking the tip off my primer indexing arm. Sometimes I can't figure why it broke. Usually just before it breaks the little point that moves the primer plate seems to be catching and dragging the primer plate backwards to it's reset. The manual's troubleshooting page hasn't help. Anybody else have this problems? Anyone care to comment?

Quote from Reloader on February 26, 2014, 10:32 pmThanks Devil Dog. I talked to someone at Dillon yesterday named Mike or maybe Steve that told me about 3 spots to lube which aren't in the manual.
The black block that pushes the indexing arm, the rod the indexing arm mounts on, and the black block that loads the cases from the case feed bowl. While I wait for another indexing arm I've been manually moving the primer wheel and last night I knocked out a couple hundred .357. Part of my problem was those lube points and that I'm loading stuff like .500 S&W, .454 Casull, .44 mag, and .357 mag, all of which expand to the max when fired so resizing was difficult until I did the lube points and lubed the brass more.
