bullet lube

Hi, new to reloading and just got a box of oregan trail laser cast .45's. almost half of them are missing some or all of the lube in the grooves. Is t his something to worry about? what problems if any?

No worries. This happens when the lube gets really cold during shipping, it sometimes shrinks and cracks. There is enough lube left to prevent leading.

what if all the lube cracked off?

Still not an issue, fortunately. Preceding bullets leave enough residual lube so that the occasional lube-free bullet won't lead.
