Caliber Conversion Kits
Quote from Reloader on March 2, 2013, 3:38 amI realize that I need different dies for each caliber, but do I also need a CALIBER CONVERSION KIT for each caliber? We are coming off a single stage press and need to get up to speed. I am planning to load 9mm, .357sig, .38/.357, 44 mag, .45acp, .40, and .233, .308. Thanks in advance, Craig

Quote from Reloader on March 2, 2013, 4:34 amThe manual on pages 44 and 45 have all the parts if each conversion kit.
I recommend you make a tabled list of the parts of each kit, then mark the dups. I expect you will find that you can delete a conversion kit or two and only have to purchase individual parts to complete a caliber kit.
For example:
9mm, .38 Super, 9x21 Conv. - #21109
#F Powder Funnel - #13806
#5 Shellplate - #13509
CF Arm Bushing, Sm Pistol, Green - #13412
CF Body Bushing, Sm - #13513
CF Adapter 9mm, 32ACP, Green - #13450
#5 Station 1 Locator - #13546
#3 Locator Pin(3) - #1406010mm, .40 S&W Conversion - #21098
#W Powder Funnel - #13600
#W Shellplate - #13310
CF Arm Bushing, Med Pistol, Red - #13403
CF Body Bushing, Med - #13604
CF Adapter 45ACP, 10mm, Red - #13143
CF Adapter 40 S&W, Purple - #18076
#W Station 1 Locator - #13267
#2 Locator Pin(3) - #1406240& 45acp share the same CF adapter (red). There are lots of dups for what you want to load.

Quote from Reloader on March 3, 2013, 6:27 amI can't recommend this enough.
http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38081That is a link to helpful links, among which will be easier
to read conversion charts than you find here.Plus a bunch of other things you probably should read.
Have fun.

Quote from Reloader on May 10, 2016, 8:42 pmAnd I will be the contrarian and just say: buy the kits you need, duplicate parts and all. When I want to do a conversion, I don't want to have to look at a chart and root around in a box to come up with the correct parts. Yeah, I know there are duplicate parts in my kits for .40 S&W and .38 / .357. But in my case, I just take the parts for the caliber I've just finished out of the press and put them in the nice blue box, take out the blue box for the caliber I'm setting up. And that's it. Of course, I also have multiple primer feeds because I refuse to convert one of them, same thing with powder measures, I have a spare one with a rifle bar in it.
