Caliber conversion kits
Quote from Reloader on February 9, 2014, 1:01 amHi,
I just bought a couple of SDB's with four caliber conversion kits and the previous guy just gave them to me in a bag.
Being a newbie what comes standard with a caliber conversion kit anyway?
Say for a 38 super, it has number 1,3,4 dies, a powder funnel and a shell plate. Is there anything else that should come with it? Is the locator buttons caliber specific? The two press are set up for 9mm and 40 cal and they both have locator buttons in place. If I change to say a 38 super or a 45, do I need to change locator buttons? Do I also need to change the decapping pin or is it one size fit all?
