Case Feed Height

Just got a case feeder for my XL650. Unfortunately it sits way too high for my liking and where I have my press mounted on my handmade oak bench it blocks about a quarter of the TV Screen that is mounted above the bench in the corner. I'm thinking about purchasing another Casefeed mounting post and case feed tube and cutting it down some at either end to shorten it up a bit. As long as I don't cut the center section of bends all should still line up although I'll have to drill new mounting holes. I'm curious if anyone has ever tried this or knows of a reason why it would not work.

I lowered my case feeder to fit in a cabinet. Purchased 1 inch copper pipe, two 90 degree elbows, cut the pipe to match, swung to right side. Works great! I think Dillon is missing a great feature.

Thanks LCB great idea. As far as watching TV while reloading, I don't. Normally I listen to music however, while cleaning guns or other time frittering hobbies it's nice to have a game or race on as background.
