Case Feed Slide Adjustment
Quote from iBillA on May 23, 2026, 8:43 amI recently unboxed my 750 and I want to load some 9mm. The press came from Dillon mostly setup for 9mm.
I followed along with the "Dillon Precision XL750: Unboxing & Step by Step Setup" video and thought i was golden.However...
The Case feed slide is not pushing the cases all the way into the shell plate. In fact, they are barely making on the shell plate at all.so...
I raised the adjustment rod, eventually reaching the top of its travel. It will not go any higher, and the slide is still stopping short. The rod contacts the feed slide about 3/4 of an inch from the top of the the inclined rail (very similar as in the video).But...
The cases are still not being pushed all the way into the shell plate.I called Dillon Customer Service for some of their world class support and after about 45 minutes on the phone and emailing a couple of pictures, the rep said he was stumped and recommended that I disassemble the entire press and start over from zero.
I suspect that the problem is my inexperience. There is probably an adjustment to be made that I am ignorant of. Taking the press off the strong mount or removing the handle don't make sense. In other words, complete disassembly and starting over doesn't sound like the most efficient way to address this.
I have attached a couple of pictures in an attempt to illustrate the issue.
Please help.

I saw in the setup videos i watched, that when the handle was in the up position, the operator could then push the handle forward a couple of inches (maybe do remove the primer?)
My handle has no additional travel in the up position. I raise the handle and it stops, and when i push it it does not move.
