Case Feed Tube Assembly
Quote from Reloader on September 16, 2014, 1:42 pmI have an approximately 25 year old XL650 that I am putting back into use following three moves. In the last move my movers lost the case feed tube. I went online, looked at the detail, and ordered the case feed assembly indicated. It arrived and at 13 1/4 inches is about 6 inches to short for my old machine. Is there a listing for ordering older parts which would be a 6CF173 according to my near mint directions, or did I end up with a miss shipment?

Quote from Reloader on September 16, 2014, 2:57 pmEven if you got the wrong tube the case feed is set way to high. Cut down the brace so you do not have to be an 8 foot tall person to load the case feeder. 🙂 I cut my case feed brace down and the feed tube. I have the loader in a 6 foot tall cabinet and can reach over and into the case feed to clear jams, etc. Best improvement ever made to the XL650! I am 6 foot tall...

Quote from Reloader on September 16, 2014, 5:06 pmThe older XL650s used the same length of tube as the Super 1050. In the late 1990s we shortened the post and feed tube about 3 inches. Too many people trying to set up a machine in a basement. Basements are rather foreign in AZ
