Case feed tube does not line up from the case feeder to the case feed adapter/body

I just purchased an XL 650 and was putting it together. I'm having an issue with the case feed tube not lined up from the case feeder to the case feed adapter on the case feed body on the press. I installed the case feed post per the instructions (bend in post facing away). The case feeder sits forward about an 1 1/2" over the case feed adapter. They should be right over each other...right? Is the post defective?
