case feeder acting strangely
Quote from jmac2112 on December 7, 2025, 3:57 pmI have a Dillon variable-speed case feeder that I bought about three years ago, and lately it's been acting strangely. Everything will be working just fine for a while, and then the motor starts going full speed for a second or two. It drops 9mm cases so fast that there will be three or four of them stacked above the cut-off switch by the time it stops spinning. When the cases fall below the cut-off switch, the motor will sometimes act normally for a while, or it might just keep doing the same crazy thing over and over. Sounds like a problem with the variable speed controller rather than the motor itself. Any ideas?
Thanks!
John
