Case feeder capacity?

Just bought and setup my 650 today, loading 38 at the moment (9mm soon). Just migrated from a lee loadmaster.

If I put more than 80 or so .38 cases in the feeder it won't move. At under 80 it runs. And it throws a case out on the floor every 25 cases or so.

What is the capacity of cases I should be able to put in there?
Is tossing them on the floor every so often to be expected?

Congrats on the purchase. As to the capacity for the case feeder...Dillon recommends an amount equal to the capacity of a 1lb. coffee can or a blue cartridge bin to be a good amount. Throwing cases on the floor I don't think is to be expected....make sure you have the correct plate in the feeder....when you dump the cases into the feeder try to spead them out.

Set the two screws inside the case feeder until the plate moves, then loose the two screws.  If the screws are to tight you will cause the motor to fail, quickly.
