Case feeder not working
Quote from Tony_McRae on August 12, 2025, 6:13 amI have a problem with my case feeder on my XL750. Long story version.
I bought it a few years ago from a "dealer" in Victoria Australia. It is set up for 38 super and 9mm as I am an IPSC pistol shooter.
It worked great for about 6 months and one day just stopped working. Red light is on but nothing happens
I did a bit of quick diagnosing as in yes there s 24v and nothing appears to be jammed.
I rang the dealer. He did not what to know and said Dillon USA do warranty.
I contacted someone at Dillon USA and they did not seem interested.
I just disconnected it, fed the cases by hand and forgot about it.
A couple of days ago I tripped across it in my shed and thought I should do something about it.
My "dealer" has closed the business. Other dealers here are not interested as I did not buy it from them.
I pulled the back of the electrics.
I traced the 24v past the switch to the board with meter.
I disconnected the motor and put 24v directly on it. It make a slight noise like it used to when it was running but that was all.
I logged into my Dillon account on the USA site that I have used to buy all my things such as quick change and plates etc. and cannot see where to ask for support so I came here in the hope that one of you will know how to fix it.

The part arrived and I installed it which solved all my problems.

Thank you Gary
