I know this post is several years old, but I think Dillon makes a strong mount specifically for the 650 that will drop its total height by 2".

My version lowers the case feeder by 9 inches. It shifts the case feeder from the left to the right. This allows for loading in a 3x2 foot cabinet.

If I were to make a modification it would be to lower by 11 or 12 inches. This will allow someone 6 foot to, more, easily reach into the feeder to clear jams, etc.

I have a new 650 that is going into a basement where I have reduced ceiling height. The preferred location in the room is below the HVAC return ducts, but is limited to 81" floor to ceiling. The other side of the room would be better with 91" floor to ceiling, but I'd have to move the safe, and it would push my seating area into the walkway.
