Case feeder with old style funnel

I have a dillon 650 with old style case feeder and funnel. I was loading 38 super and will now be loading 45ACP. I changed the plate to large caliber plate but do I have to remove the white block in the funnel or leave it as is?

As valueable these Forums here are I find the Reloading forums sub section that deals with Dillon equipment at Brian Enos's site to be
far more active.
Might give that a try.
