Case Slide not fully Actuating Case Arm to drop pistol Case
Quote from Reloader on December 14, 2016, 2:14 pmThe black pistol case slide (97082) does not appear to be moving far enough forward to fully engage the Case Arm (13716) and is not reliably dropping cases. I cannot figure out how to adjust the travel on the case arm so that the slide can fully engage it. Putting several layers of electrical tape on the Case Arm to make it stick out further has helped it engage. Any solutions? Cases that are dropped are fully moving into station 1, no issues.

Quote from Reloader on March 7, 2017, 12:11 amIs your platform steel or alloy? If steel, the extension that the case feed slide moves on is thinner, and subject to being bent down. To check, remove the shellplate and case feed plunger (#97082) , then lay a flat surface across the platform, and see if the extension is angled down.
If it is, then contact us for the thicker alloy platform.

Quote from Reloader on March 22, 2017, 8:35 pmThanks for your assistance, but this is not the problem I'm running into here.
The casefeed arm is not pushing the case far enough forward to drop it into the casefeed bushing with the weight of anything heavier than a single 9mm case pressing down on the case to be dropped.
I'm giving the casefeed arm a small push to get it to drop. This slows the process down a bit and I have to remember to push the casefeed arm, which doesn't always happen.
I am hesitant to try a homemade fix, and it's effect on the machines warranty.

Quote from Reloader on March 22, 2017, 11:16 pmLook down through the top of the pivoting arm with the handle pulled down. Does the hole in the insert line up with the hole in the case feed body bushing? If not, you adjust the cam (97082) to line this up.
For best assistance, please phone us when you can be in front of the machine.
