Case trimmer

I just bought a 650 & love the idea of the case trimmer for my .223. The question I have is can I get a cutting head that deburrs the inside and outside of the case at the same time it trims it like I have for my RCBS trimmer?

Not from us. It would be an expensive piece of carbide. I suspect a carbide tooling supplier could get one made for you though.

They told me on the phone at Dillon I didn't need to deburr the cases if I used the Dillon trimmer they said it is a clean cut & no need to deburr. Can anyone comment on that that has used it?

I use it regularly for 223 and 308. With a boattailed bullet, FMJ variety, I never chamfer the inside. With match bullets, I do.

Does anyone have a video of the trimmer in use. I looked all over youtube & nothing came up with the dillon.

I trim my 223/5.56 every time, because it is so easy and that is how I resize the outside of the case. After the initial trim with the 1200, my cases don't grow very much and there is hardly a burr anyway. Then in the first stage of my reloading tool head, I have a neck size only die. As it is expanding the inside of the case neck, the burr just kind of goes away. I load non-boattailed bullets without a problem. I see no difference in accuracy if I de-burr or not.

Here is how I trim brass:
