casefeed arm stop pin
Quote from Reloader on September 15, 2014, 4:52 amAfter 30 years with a green single stage press I took the plunge to a used xl650 3 weeks ago for my pistol ammo. I'm semi mechanically inclined but the casefeed arm pin is causing problems. The pin is a mere "bump" on the underside of the case feed body where it is suppose to engage the casefeed arm. The top of the arm goes under the "bump" of the casefeed arm pin and hangs up. The pin is threaded in from the top of the casefeed body but is so tight it won't budge with the small allen wrench.
How far is the pin suppose to extend below the casefeed body to act as a "stop" for the casefeed arm?
Has anyone had a pin sheer off?
Is the pin installed with locktite from the factory? I'm not sure why it is so tight.
