Casefeeder 223 jamming up

Im having problems with my 650 casefeeder when loading 223 brass. Using small rifle case plate and cases seem to slip underneath case plate and get casefeeder jammed up. Maybe i have washer incorrect or something. Any advice or tips appreciated

do you need the washer for 223?

Do not use a spacer washer for 223.

Take the plastic case off a fired shot shell (12ga) cut to fit into the lower section of the of the feeder (length and diameter). This should place it just short of the shut off finger. This will keep the cases from getting behind the finger. You may have to bevel the up end of the shot shell case but I do not. 223 seems to be the only one with the issue.
