Casefeeder Problem

Hello,

I have a pretty serious problem. My brand new Casefeeder is not working.

I just got it, assembled the machine, put some brass in and turned it on. It turned a couple of turns, for about 2-3 minutes, and simply stopped turning.

I unplugged it. Let it rest and tried again, nothing happened. Opened the mechanism to check for any disconnected wires, nothing. So I'm pretty confused, how can it simply stop working?

Can I do anything special to make it turn again?

I'm a serious IPSC shooter and Dillon XL650 owner. In the last 4 years I reloaded about 150.000 rounds in my old XL650 and just got a brand new one. So I'm pretty sad with this malfunction...

First, check the metal arm on the microswitch. If it has caught on something and is stuck down, then the motor won't rotate. Otherwise, unplug the cord from the power socket, detach the clear plastic feed funnel from the front of the bowl, and jump the two wires on the microswitch together. Plug it in and see if it runs.

Thanks for the quick answer. I will do that when I get home.

Hello,

Yesterday I did as you told. The motor was turning and I just had to "play" with the microswitch a little to make it work again.

Everything is perfect now.

Thank you very much!
