Cases not being pushed
Quote from Reloader on August 5, 2017, 1:38 pmGetting a sporadic problem of cases not being pushed far enough into station one for depriming. Some go fine, others stop a bit short and have to be nudged over.

Quote from Reloader on August 6, 2017, 1:47 pmCheck and see if the screw holding the Case Insert Slide & Slide Cam (#1 on page 52 of the manual) has come slightly loose. Readjust as necessary and re-tighten the screw.
I had that happen with a new XL650, after a couple thousand rounds. I suspect that although the screw was plenty tight. My pressure when priming, was ever so slowly pushing it back over time. Or the vibration from moving parts. It just needed to be tighter. Something to check from time to time.

Quote from Reloader on August 7, 2017, 4:43 pmCheck that the shell plate bolt is tight but not too tight. Press on the plate at station 4 and if there is any up/down movement then tighten the center bolt. I tighten the center bolt until I feel a drag trying to rotate the plate by hand and then back off just ever so slightly.
