Casing notches
Quote from Reloader on September 29, 2018, 9:52 pmMy 550B occasionally puts a notch in the casing at station two on 9 mm only. I loaded 200 casings today and this happened four times. Been doing this for six years and this just started. No metal build up on the powder drop station that I could see. Not one brand of casing involved. Load as many 45's as 9 with no problem.

Quote from Reloader on October 1, 2018, 5:31 pmIt sounds like the shellplate bolt is slightly loose. To verify, push down on the edge of the shellplate between stations 2 and 3. If it feels springy, then snug the bolt down a bit more. Make sure you are using #3 brass locator pins.
