Cleaning and lubrication
Quote from Reloader on January 16, 2009, 5:19 pmHow often should I pull my machine down and lubricate everything. I lube the station one rod, the surfaces of the shell drop arm, the shell plate, Station one >Arm that pushes the shell into the shell plate. and the pin that goes down through the primer indexing plate (very sparingly). Then there is the index ring, press main shaft, and the cross bolts and arms that connect the handle to the main shaft. While I had it down recently and gave the machine a bath then relubed everything. After about four thousand rounds it looks like it did before I took it down. Lube chart? Suggestions on how many rounds before a complete tear down. Loading area is not unclean but it is out in the shop.

Quote from Reloader on January 17, 2009, 3:19 pmIf you load at least 1000 rounds a month, lube it once a year. otherwise, once every other year. Use 30 wt motor oil on the shaft, grease everywhere else.

Quote from Reloader on January 18, 2009, 5:05 pmHeck I generally do between four and five thousand a month. I didn't know folks that owned a Blue press did less :). I had to finally go get a Knack box to keep my loaded ammo in.

How to tear down the 650
How to clean the 650
How to replace the parts from the spare parts kit on the 650I bought the spare parts kit, and would like to replace all the parts to make it "as new" again.
