Cleaning Brass after tumbling

I have just gotten back into reloading and have another new XL650 on order. After tumbling my brass I used to wash it in a bucket with water to wash off all the tumbling media dust.

What does every one else do these days to clean off the dust and is there an easier process than a bucket and water?

I have about 5000 rounds of .45 ACP and about 6000 rounds of .223 to reload. I have been tumbling for 3 days now round the clock. I am about 1/3 the way through with the tumbling.

What media are you using?

Media is Corn Cob by Dillion with 209 polish added in.

After I resize my brass, I take a bath towel, place about 50 brass on it, squirt some lighter fluid on them and holding the ends of the towel, I "tumble the brass in the towel to remove the lube... works pretty well.

After I tumble the brass in the tumbler, I do the same thing with the towel (but no lighter fluid needed) to remove the cob or walnut rouge dust.

Add two used fabric sheets to your tumbler with every load of brass. I have been using the same media for two years, it's still like new and no dust. I finally got something worthwhile off Youtube!
