Coolant disappearing but no leak on the ground, where's it going?
Quote from josestanton on November 6, 2026, 7:15 amTopping up my coolant every couple of weeks now, which clearly isn't normal. No puddles under the car, no obvious drips, and the oil looks fine so I'm hoping it's not the worst case scenario. I read https://exoticautoservices.ae/engine-overheating/ trying to understand where coolant can vanish to without leaving a trace and it mentioned things like a failing cap or a small internal leak, which got me worried. Has anyone had coolant slowly disappear and found a simple explanation? I'm really hoping it's something like a bad radiator cap and not a head gasket. Also, is it safe to keep topping it up while I figure it out or am I just masking a bigger problem?
