Customer service and my old Dillon 55B
Quote from Reloader on April 8, 2017, 6:31 pmHello to all, new member here. But, a long time Dillon owner/user.
I purchased my RL-450 back in the mid 80's. I used it heavily and when the 550B became available I decided to sell my old RL-450 to fund my new purchase. After decades of use and untold 1000's of rounds of ammunition had been turned out on the 550B it was time for a refurbish.
I packaged it up with any and all parts I thought may need replacing and off to Dillon it went. This morning, my doorbell rang and as I watched the FedEx truck pull off, looked down and there on my front porch sat a big box with DILLON on it.
I opened the box to find a brand spanking new press!
Over the years, I've purchased dies and other items from Dillon and their records reflected the fact I've been a long time customer. That isn't to say if you're considering a new one you'll not receive the same treatment.
While the world lost a good man when Mike Dillon passed away, his legacy will live on for decades to come!
