CV-750 very hot

I have a brand new CV-750 tumbler and it gets very hot, both the motor and the steel plate beneath the bowl. My IR thermometer indicates 160 degrees F. on both after about 45 min. to an hour of run time. this is with 250 rounds of 223 brass, corn cob media and some Dillon rapid polish 290, filled to about 1.5" below the top of the bowl. Is this kind of heat normal with this tumbler? I almost burned my fingers when I picked it up to empty it. It has plenty of room around it for air movement to cool it. It just doesn't seem right to get that hot!

This cleaner uses a sealed motor, notice no cooling fan on it. It does run rather warm indeed. It is designed for extensive use. Just be sure to operate it on a concrete, tile, or hardwood floor. Do not use it on cardboard or cardboard.
