D-Terminator
Quote from Reloader on February 5, 2011, 12:54 pmHello,
I'm just getting started in the reloading world and purchased the XL 650 press and all the accessories to go with it. I hear nothing but great reviews on Dillon products and I'm very excited about getting started with the new press.
One of the accessories I purchased was the Dillon D-Terminator Electronic Scale and I'm having trouble calibrating it. I followed the instructions step by step but every time I attempt to calibrate the scale, it reads "CAL E"
When not in the calibration mode, and I put the 50g calibration weight on the platform, it reads between 50.66 grams and 50.68 grams. I've read alot of other threads on this issue and have moved the scale around the house (to get away from fluorescent lights, radios, TV's, etc) and still get a calibration error. Is it possible that the calibration weight sent with the scale is slightly off in weight? Or is it possible one of the load cells is damaged?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
