Delivery

Page 1 of 2Next

I am glad most people are getting their orders or answers. I ordered over a month ago when they were saying delivery was 1-2 weeks, all I received is the handle and one conversion kit. I sent an E-Mail early last week and have not had an answer to that either. I have given up on trying to call

They are just backed up bud. I ordered a 650/strong mount/case feeder on the 29th on Jan....nothing yet.....My roomate on the other hand ordered the same a week after me and already got his case feeder.....: /

Just curious... I ordered 3 things...the XL650, the 9mm Taper and the 9mm die set. My order shows "finalized", but I only received the 9mm taper and the XL650. Did they forget about my die set, or is it still on backorder...even though nothing about the order shows backorder or gives me any indication that it is?

Thanks!

To wiz561, what date did you order? I ordered an XL650 and 9mm carbide die set plus a lot of other things on 1-17-13. All I have received is the handle to the XL650, I am getting tired of playing with it without a press. If you sign on and go to your account and click on your order number it will give you a list of everything you ordered, If it was on the order to begin with than they have not forgotten it. I think die sets along with everything else are on backorder. Just curious when you placed your order.

I don't want to start anything, but I ordered it on 2/9/13. I was flabbergasted when I got an email with a tracking number a few days after I ordered it. I thought it was too good to be true.

I don't know if there's any rhyme or reason to how they ship things. I do know others who have been waiting a lot longer than I have to obtain their order. Who knows, maybe I'll be staring at the press for a few months until I can get the dies in. At least I can use other brands of dies with it....but even the dies are hard to find.

I understand the demand out there is huge for this right now, and Dillon is having a hard time trying to keep up with the demand. Normally, I'd be annoyed about this stuff, but in this day and age, I'm thankful when it does arrive.

I am glad you got your loader, don't wait on Dillon dies, get some RCBS. I found some RCBS .223 Dies the other day on the shelf at Bass Pro. It's funny you got your XL650 right away because when you ordered they were saying 6-8 weeks, when I ordered it was 1-2 weeks and I am past 5 weeks now. I hope you don't have trouble with it because I have read where someone has been trying to get thru on the phone for 3 weeks for help. So much for their NO B S warranty if they are to busy selling more to help their older customers.

OK, these comments are really irritating. As a business owner, it seems a lot of the people posting are the few who have their panties in a bunch and who have zero patience or understanding of the situation - those are the nightmare clients that no business really ever wants to have to deal with - the turds in the punch bowl, if you will.  You can't accuse Dillon of being "too busy selling more to help their older customers" just because you can't manage to get through on the phone line - do you know how utterly ridiculous that statement is? It implies they somehow control who gets through on the phone to their call queue, which holds 30 people. The fact is MANY people want this product because it's the BEST. If you haven't dealt with them in the past and experienced their service you might want to reconsider your statement. Making crybaby statements like that when the entire industry is on it's head - everybody is at maximum capacity and nobody, including Dillon, can keep up with demand - is childish and unfair.

I had no problem getting through to add more to my order last week - had to hit redial about 30 or 40 times, then sit on hold for a while, but a little tenacity and patience goes a long way.

I'm sorry Dillon has to deal with some of the people they do, and I'm sorry some of those people won't think twice before sullying the incredible reputation that Dillon has taken decades to build, just because they feel the need to act like petulant children when they don't get what they want right when they want it.

I agree with your comments, but I believe everybody in today's world has a 'right now' type attitude. THey want it now.

I understand the wait, and that's why I'm surprised I received what I did. I'm sure others are in the same boat and are understanding about the delays....just because things are really crazy. Normally, I would be flipping out, but anything gun related, I'm just happy when I get it.

Things are impossible to find locally, so whenever I get it in the mail, I'm a happy camper! Even though Dillon is jammed up right now, I know I will be good in the future if I need help.

Delivery? I have bits to come from last December!

Semi good news. Got to work this morning and they were delivering my XL650 press. Ordered on the 14th of Jan. Six weeks right on the money. This is the third shipment and I now have 99% of my order. I can now set it all up and stare at it while I wait on the dies. Can't reload anything yet, but it will look good set up. I have been patient in waiting as I know they are slammed trying to get to everyone.
