Diassembly for Lubrication

Hi Dillon-

Is there a way I can remove the legs from my 550??  I want to clean and relube it.  You guys upgraded the legs to include the new grease holes, but is there a way I can break it down?  I really dont want to have to go and buy a grease gun.

Thanks.

Yes, but not easily. You need to remove the shellplate and platform, remove the set screw from the bottom of the shaft, then push out the cross-pin that connects the bottom of the shaft to the rear of the crank. Now the shaft will slide out the bottom of the frame. The right link arm pin is hollow, run a punch through this hole to drive out the left link arm pin. Now run the punch through the hole to drive out the right link arm pin.

You will need an alignment pin to reinstall the platform. Phone or e-mail us and we will send one to you.
