Die selection for .308/7.62 Semi-auto
Quote from Reloader on February 23, 2013, 6:49 pmI have a DPMS Oracle 7.62 (AR10). Which dies should I get for my 550B? I see that Dillon has the regular 3 set dies for the .308 but also has a Redding .30 Custom Carbine Carbide die set. What is the difference in these sets and is one better than the other for ammo for a semi-auto?
Thanks

Quote from Reloader on February 23, 2013, 7:14 pmLet me rephrase the question... Can I use the .30 Carbine dies to load the 7.62/.308 rounds. I know it is the same diameter bullet but thats all I know. Reason I am asking is because I found some of the .30 Carbine dies available now.

I don't know enough about the specifics of what you ask to help.
