Dillon Bullet Feeder
Quote from Skidmark on May 30, 2026, 11:58 pmFinally decided to unbox my new Bullet feeder, was really easy to set up
fairly straight forward. Now my issue, I am loading 556 with 55 Gr hornady
FMJs, bullets drop but fall off the case mouth as the shellplate proceeds to the seating die station.
I size and trim brass in a prior session using the RT1500 and when loading my frist station has a Lyman M die
to size the neck and its adjusted down so i get a minute mouth flare to aid in hold the bullet prior to seating.
But with the bullet feeder it drops the bullet but it falls off when the shell plate advances. Whats the fix ?
crank the m Die Down further for more flare?
Im crimping so it will remove any flare, Anyone else have this problem please enlighten me.
