Dillon case trimmer
Quote from Reloader on September 23, 2008, 8:44 pmIf I setup the case trimmer system on my XL650, will I be able to dump brass into my case feed system and simply cycle the operating handle to feed, trim and eject cases? If I can automate the trimming in that way, I know what I'm asking for this year for Christmas! 🙂

Quote from Reloader on September 26, 2008, 11:34 pmYes! The case trimmer mounts on the toolhead, at position #1. I bought a separate toolhead so as to keep my case trimmer mounted & calibrated for the .223's I reload regularly. Turn on the vacuum (to suck out those pesky tailings), turn on the case feeder and produce, time after time, perfectly trimmed cases. It works so quickly, in fact, that I run ALL my .223 brass thru the stage in full batches--thus, I do not have to worry about any round being too long. (I use the same toolhead for a bullet puller, that, sadly, occasionally gets some use).
(Try to act surprised on Christmas morning).

Quote from Reloader on October 29, 2008, 4:57 pmI actually go one step further. I also de-cap and resize the cartridges in station 1 and have the trimmer in station 4. After I'm done i throw them in the vibrator with corncob media and in 10 minutes I have clean ready to load cases that are sized and ready.

Quote from Reloader on January 11, 2012, 6:46 pmI just started doing just that , it works great. I hate case prep work and wish dillon would make a chamfer and deburring add on for my tool head for the 650 that would REALLY speed doing rifle case prep. Hint, Hint
