Dillon dies vs. Small Base dies

Dimensionally, how do Dillon dies "measure up" to other brand small base dies? I am new to rifle reloading and have been working on processing .223 brass. The first reloads will be used at short distances, but as I learn what I'm doing I'd like to load some 77s and 80s to be used at the 600 yard line for service rifle competition.

So far I have sorted, deprimed, wet tumbled and removed any military crimp. Next will be annealing, then lube/resize. I am getting mixed answers as to what kind of die to use, Full length or small base.

Are Dillon dies FL or SB?

Dillon dies are both full-length resizing, and "small base". Small base merely means that the body of the case is sized to the minimum end of SAAMI Specifications. Virtually all brands of full-length size dies do this.
Full length is as opposed to neck-size only, where the body of the case is not sized, only the case neck is.

I have found that the "small base" dies from rcbs are not small enough for two of my rifles. The final cure was the Redding "body die". It makes the case fit even the tightest chamber, and can be used on loaded ammo. I shot thousands of such resized rounds in southern Oregon two years ago, hitting ground squirels reliably.
