Dillon is the BEST
Quote from Reloader on March 26, 2013, 10:06 pmI just had a great experience with Dillon and wanted to share.
As I was prepping my 550B for a caliber change (.45 ACP to .38 Special) I immediately noticed a broken part (#14280). One of the "ears" where it was screwed into the plunger had broken off, and I couldn't fix it. I tried it with an epoxy glue, but nothing worked.
I tried to email, but was surprised to find an immediate "robot reply" which said in effect "We are busy-We can't be expected to read this email for two weeks or more"...
Wow! That wasn't gonna help me reload my .38 sp.
So, on a whim I called Dillon (did you notice their numbers are all calibers of misc. ammo?) and got busy signals. Bummer. After a few tries, I gave up.
Fast forward one day...
I was on the road, so again on a whim, dialed the number and got through. I got the "We appreciate your business, please hold for the next caller".....Cool! I was getting somewhere...
After 51 minutes of waiting (Yes I did time it) someone answered. I spent about 10 seconds explaining what happened. He listened, and confirmed my address, and said, "No problem, we will send you a new part out in todays' mail"
Got it last night. After only two business days.
Now THAT is customer service!
Thanks Dillon! You guys are GREAT!
