Dillon's Customer Loyalty
Quote from Reloader on December 12, 2012, 3:39 pmI have a Dillon RL550 press and have used it for years. I'm retired Army and have not been reloading until recently. When I went to load 38/357's I noticed I had lost a number 2 positioning pin. I called Dillon and told them my problem. The man asked me for my customer number and I didn't remember it. I told him my last "Blue Press" magazine was dated 1996, he asked me for my zip code and I told him what it used to be and gave him my new one. He told me he would send out my pins without charge! I love my Dillon press and to have such great customer service after 16 or more years away from re-loading and Dillon, I was very impressed with this great company. Thanks for great service. L. Quote from Reloader on December 13, 2012, 4:52 amThey have the best customer service that I have ever seen. I have bragged about my 550b to anyone who shoots regularly. I've had a similar instance with the pins, and recently they replaced part of my broken primer alarm free of charge after it sat up for over 8 years. I wouldn't sell my press for any amount of money. In the past 2 weeks I've reloaded over 1300 rounds of 9 mm and saved over 200$ per 1000. Honestly, I can't say enough about Dillon!

Quote from Reloader on December 14, 2012, 11:43 pmI just sent in my 550 for a clean and lube. This was suggested by someone on the forum. The Customer service person I exchanged email with was very helpful. I had a number of questions on what needed to ship with it. Since I was having primer issues they told me to send that part along with the press. I sent it in the Friday after Thanksgiving and the following week got a message that it was being shipped back. I thought maybe it was in bad enough shape they could not do anything with it. I expected to pay for what they had done to it but was informed it was covered and there would be no cost. When I got it back it almost looked like new. It moved so smoothly I had to try it out. The following weekend I loaded almost 1200 round of 45 ACP and 9mm. The press never worked that well before. I have tried other presses but Dillon will be my go to tool based on this great service.
