Disassemble primer feed assembly
Quote from Reloader on July 22, 2018, 11:41 pmThe piston of my small primer feed assembly doesn't retract fully, which causes my primers to hang up. I'm wondering is it might be dirty or something, is there a trick to disassembling the primer feed assembly? I see the little C clip, but the primer feed assembly main spring is so strong it seems like one needs at least one extra hand to compress it enough to gain access to the C clip.

Quote from Reloader on July 23, 2018, 3:49 pmYes, they do indeed come apart - I made up a "fixture" from a short length of aluminum rod with a recess and a cut-away slot to allow me to compress the assembly in a vise to allow me to remove the c-clip.
As an alternative, you could grow a third hand 🙂
