DT scale replace or repair?
Quote from Reloader on October 3, 2012, 3:48 amI Recently read on this forum that the old Determinator Scale (part# 13681 1500g capacity) has a lifetime warranty? Strangely enough I still have the original invoice #939810. It was purchased 07/06/1994.
It hasn't been used in 17 years and now it won't calibrate? If this scale doesn't have a lifetime warranty can it be repaired? I got a new DT scale from Dillon on 07/16/2012 and an RMA# to return the old one, which of course I haven't done yet. Was hoping you could help. Thank You, Bob

Quote from Reloader on October 3, 2012, 3:22 pmIf the scale reads "CAL E" when going through the calibration process, then the scale has suffered damage to one or more of the strain gages. This is not repairable. It this case, since your scale has the lifetime warranty, we replace it with the current version of the D-terminator Scale under the warranty.
