Easier way to remove locator pins
Quote from Reloader on January 22, 2010, 10:11 pmWith my ham-handed fingers it's a chore to remove the locator pins in my SDB. I've tried needle nose pliers but sometimes the pins take off across the garage never to be seen again.
What I have come up with is to JB Weld very small metal washers to the tops of the pins. Then I can use a magnet to remove and replace them. Works like a charm and my furstration level has dropped way down.
I had to go to a hobby shop (radio control planes, etc) to find washers small enough for the pins that are used with the .45 Colt brass, think they have a "4" on the top.
