Extra small powder bar

Need to drop a 3.0 gr amount of Hodgdon Clays. I'm using the small powder bar and wondered if the extra small powder bar would be a better tool? There is plenty of space for the amount, just wondered if it would be more consustent having the different shaped channel?
Essentially, is it better to have a longer space for a small amount or a shorter, deeper space?

The standard small powder bar will be more accurate at 3 grains. The extra-small bar is intended for charges under 2.6 grains.

Thanks for the information. I did not know about the 2.6 grain detail.
