Fail safe rod washer
Quote from Reloader on October 9, 2013, 9:41 pmDoes the plastic washer, that the failsafe rod goes through, suppose move up and down with the rod? Is the spring suppose to stick in the washer or ride on the rod? I tried to put it up in the bracket that the fail safe rod feeds through but it wont stay there. Its annoying because it pops in the spring every time I work the lever and I cant feel if the primer is getting seated or not.

They do that sometimes whether its on my 550 or my SDB. Easiest fix I've found is to take a SMALL cable tie and put it on the plastic washer ABOVE the bracket. Keeps it from falling out of the bracket but the spring may still "snap" at times.
Easy cheap fix man.
