Failsafe rod?
Quote from Reloader on April 1, 2021, 3:44 pmCan the old failsafe rod with the 90 degree bend be used with the new two piece powder measure system????
I purchased a backup powder measure with the new two piece lever system and my failsafe rod comes off an older powder measure with the one piece lever system.
I can't seem to get the two to mate up.
Thanks!

My failsafe rod, on which I had to "tweak" the 90° bends to get it to function properly, measures 7½" from the bottom of the threads to a downward 20° bend. There is then a two-inch section before the first 90° bend to the right, which is 90° to the plane of the first two sections. Overall length tip to tip is a just over 10 inches. I hope that helps!
