Finished Round Chute - 650
Quote from Reloader on November 21, 2007, 7:49 pmThe "finished round chute" that drops the final round off the press into the holding box - has a tendancy to bend away from the frame, especially as the box of finished rounds gets heavy, and then it hangs up as the press shaft moves down to complete a cycle. I've bent it back into place with some success / but it kind of has a memory now.
My solution was to drill 2 holes in it - and then using a plastic cable tie - tie it in place around the frame. It seems to me a better solution to beef up the bracket / or change the attachment system with some kind of a retrofit. Is there anything in the works ?

Quote from Reloader on November 23, 2007, 4:02 pmNo plans for any changes to this part. The tolerances between this bracket and the platform are close. If the bracket isn't vertical, it can get tweaked by the platform. I just use a crescent wrench with the jaws adjusted to be open just the thickness of the metal to straighten it.
