Flaring problem
Quote from Reloader on February 21, 2015, 7:20 pmI just finished setting up my Square Deal for 9mm. Adjusted my powder drop, primer insert..everything ok except that its not flaring my brass enough. In the third stage, the bullets dont set into the brass at all, and keep falling out. How do I adjust for this?
Using 115gr fmj, Hodgdins Clay Powder 3.9gr, OAL 1.375", Crimp 0.373".
Ive fired several rounds that I was able to make, and they fired very well.
But how do I increase the flare just a tad?

Quote from Reloader on February 26, 2015, 4:25 pmI had the same problem. You need to tighten the powder die by hand (little by little) until you get the flare bell you need to set a bullet on top good. It's a bit of a pain, since you have to remove the powder measure first. That WILL do the job. Trust me.
