Flexible Orifice (small) keep breaking
Quote from Reloader on July 12, 2017, 12:54 amFor some reason unknown to me, I have recently been breaking the Flexible Orifice (small) . The blue part that feeds the primer into the primer cup. I've had the press for 10 years, and never had this problem before. I broke 3 in about 1/2 hours! After the first one broke, I put a new one in, checking everything that I have done before many times. I have replaced the plunger that pushes the primer into the cup, & the cup itself.
I can't figure it out, and now I'm out of small orifices. (had one old one, and two new ones)Please help!!

Quote from Reloader on July 12, 2017, 5:22 pmThe most likely cause is that the cup and punch on the end of the primer slide are taller than the maximum height. Measure from the underside of the primer slide to the top of the primer cup. This should be 1.215-1.220". If taller than that, then the primer cup contacts the plastic tip.
