Full Length Sizing Die
Quote from blong6 on January 12, 2025, 4:21 pmHello,
I have resized some .300 AAC Blackout with a full-length sizing die. The issue I'm having is the case is stretching although I'm using case lube. My question is, should I use a sizing die lube in addition to the case lube or exchange the case lube for the die lube? TIA.

Quote from The Human Manual on January 13, 2025, 3:41 pmCase lube and size die lube are the same thing. The lube used will not increase or decrease the amount of growth a case undergoes when it is sized. More importantly, are you using a headspace case gage to set your size die with? Using a gae makes sure you aren't sizing the case shoulder down too far, which increases case stretching.
