Girlfriend want's to shoot cowboy action

She has had shoulder surgery and while she can handle a light .38 in a rifle the shotgun is hard for her. I'm thinking of 13 grain of HS-6 in a 20 gauge with 3/4 oz of shot. Any ideas??

The Hodgdon website only lists 1oz and heavier 20 ga loads with HS-6. Reloading Data Center – Hodgdon Reloading Data Center

Yes sir, I saw that in my manuals also but I was hoping someone had more experience then I do would know. Maybe a different powder?? I hope to get the velocity under 950fps or lower for her.
