Great Customer Service

I wanted to take a minute to express what a great products my two RL-550B have been over the years of perhaps tens of thousand of rounds reloaded.  I have only had two part failures both of which were promptly taken care of under warranty.

Thank you Dillion Precision

We are happy to help keep you loading

They might have great customer service, but I cannot verify that as I've never been able to reach them by phone.  The 800# is always busy and the local number just hangs up on you.  Not only that... I ordered a 550B press, a stand and some .45 ACP dies.  The press arrived, but not the rest of the stuff.  Viewing the order online does not show the status of any of the items... only that they were ordered.  Very frustrating!!!!

All is I can tell you is that times are a little hectic for everyone in the gun iindustry. I know of not one manufacturer that is not struggling to keep orders going out the door without losing their mind. I have been dealing with Dillon since 1989 and have experienced nothing bit exemplary service from them. As a mattter of fact the only 2 constants in all the years I have owned firearms is that politicians lie and try to to keep taking away my guns, and Dillon has the best customer service in the business. If they are not answering their phone it may be because they are trying to get things done or that they are answering calls from people that pick up the phone twice a day to find out about their order which keeps the phone busy and stops them from getting things done.

Admin3,
If the 1800 number is clogged either email or call the 480-948-8009 number.  I've gotten through using the non-free number when the toll-free number was busy.  Generally they respond next day or two on the email.  All of my warranty questions through email were met with the response... the part is in the mail and 2-3 days later it was on my door step.

For an order, email contact with the order number and let them know what wasn't included.  It could be backordered.

Keep in mind when calling, you're talking to Americans with these numbers, not something that's been outsourced to India or worse.  Not to mention, I imagine business went skyrocketing after the CT shooting, increasing ammo costs, and decreasing availability of ammo.

I have been dealing with Dillon since 1991 and have had nothing but "Great Service" with them, that is why I keep coming back. I have had no issues ever contacting them by phone and had them on the phone last week within 8 min of dialing. You will be hard pressed to find many companies that offer the level of service that Dillon does.

I ordered my 550B on 1/7/13 amid all the rush to get reloading equipment and supplies. I was told that the unit would be backordered for two weeks. One and a half weeks later the press arrived with everything I needed to get started. The only things missing were the Lymans #49 and 500 bullets for 9mm. I have called three times, once before I ordered to get information on which press I needed, once to order and once to determine what was the status of the book and rounds and ask a question about .45 rounds. Each time I talked to very impressive techs, Dennis was first then I believe it was Tim and finally Matt. Matt told be that they were slammed and the backorder time on machines was 5 to 6 weeks, which is understandable. I have nothing but good things to say about the Dillion staff.
