Great service

I just wanted to give Dillon a public thank you for helping me with a problem I had with my .223 decapping pin. The people at Dillon know how to take care of their customers and for that I will always be loyal to Dillon Precision.

Dillon,

I purchased my RL550B on 04/09/08 and had never reloaded before, I took the suggestion of getting the 550 from a friend who has a 650, he said it would be a good press for me as it’s the one he started on.
Like I said I have never reloaded ammunition before and was somewhat reluctant to do so due to the hazards involved, well let me say now I wish I had started years ago, you press is amazing and the Customer Service is beyond belief.
When all the boxes arrived I thought to myself “What have you gotten into” but after reading thru the manual and assembling the press it all came down to a simple well-designed machine that has worked perfectly.
When I decided to reload I purchased everything needed to load 9mm and .308, I started off with the pistol rounds to familiarize myself with how the press operated and after about 500 rounds I moved on to the rifle rounds, I had a couple of issues (Operator error) that was quickly resolved by your very knowledgeable Staff who most likely deal with inexperienced folks like me each and everyday and answer the same silly question’s all the time but always seem to be there and never get tired of doing it, this says a lot about your Company and the people that stand behind a product by which all others in my opinion should be measured by.
Like I said I had some Operator error issues when I started one of which involved me breaking my decapping hammer and the most recent one was the failsafe rod bushing breaking, I called on both of these fully expecting to pay but was told that there is a 100% No-BS Warranty and they would ship out the replacement parts, I could not believe the service as most Companies these days would not even think of doing such things.
I plan on getting some upgrades for my machine as soon as I can, Alum Roller Hndl, Bullet Tray and Cartridge Case Bin and if they are of the same quality as the rest of your equipment I can be assured they will provide me with years of trouble free service.
In closing I want to thank you for producing a superior product that will most likely outlast me but more importantly thank you for standing behind your product and providing excellent Customer Service

What causes that fail safe rod bushing rod bushing to snap in half? New to the 550 have had a Square Deal for over 20 years. have had 2 of those fail safe rod bushings break...........
