Help
Quote from TroutBum1971 on May 23, 2024, 6:18 pmHi, I am new here and to reloading. Long story but my uncle passed away and left me his xl 650. I know right off the bat I don’t have the auto case feeder. I am also missing dies. I shoot primarily 9mm and 556. I don’t even know where to start with what else I need or how to set the machine.
lost, help point me in the right direction.
thank you in advance

Quote from Mginkel on May 24, 2024, 4:19 amwelcome . I am new as well I recently set up an xl 750 and believe it’s very similar to 650. You don’t need the case feed it just makes reloading faster . If you have the correct shell plate and pins then alll you need is the dies . I have been reloading 9 mm very happy with results so far , although it took a while to dial things in . Watch the setup video on Dillions website under tutorials . I have change dies from Lee to Dillon with better results . Good luck just keep at it an you will be fine
